In 2018 Advisor to Toyota Corporation Hayashi Nampachi visited the Aerosol Novomoskovsk in the framework of Program to increase productivity. Employees of the company reported on the work done and the results achieved.
Elena Popovkina, General Director of Aerosol Novomoskovsk LLC, told the guest of honor about the activities carried out in the framework of program to increase labor productivity, drew attention to the results achieved, in particular, reducing the number of unfinished work on pilot lines, reducing the time of the processes, increasing production and reducing the unit cost of finished products, which generally led to an increase in the competitiveness of enterprises in the Russian and foreign markets. Elena Popovkina also explained that there are issues for which she hopes to get a competent opinion of Mr. Hayashi Nampachi.
Mr. Hayashi examined the production lines, carefully studied all the technological processes, asked questions and pointed out weak points. Then he became acquainted with the work of the laboratory and storage facilities. Not a single detail was left unattended by Hayashi Nampachi, and the employees of LLC Aerosol Novomoskovsk could observe with their own eyes what it means to have prudent production in action.
Having examined the company, Mr. Hayashi expressed the opinion that a lot has already been achieved. So, for example, the work of the warehouse has been improved: the pallets-cells are separated in height to release new ones for an effective order picking, certain rows are fixed to the quickly wrapped products. The work of the Pamasol pilot line also shows improvements in the form of production management using visualization tools, reducing changeover time, reducing downtime, improving line stability, and much more.
At the same time, Mr. Hayashi noted that despite the positive developments, there is still a lot of work ahead. He explained in detail what he would like to see on his next visit and noted that only the well-coordinated work of the whole team will allow not only to achieve high results, but also to keep them for many years.
