Trial site closing event as part of National project “Labour efficiency and employment support” was held at Arnest AO on October 11. The company entered the program on March 26, 2019 among the first companies of the region and has achieved notable results within this period.
First Deputy Minister for Economic Development of Stavropol territory Vitaliy Zritnev, Director of Stavropol territory Innovative Development Assistance Fund Viacheslav Chernigovskiy, Deputy Head of Nevinnomyssk Administration Alexander Savchenko, company management and project team took part in the event, which was opened by Arnest AO General Manager Sergey Popov.
Production Director and leader of the implementation process Elena Tumus described the progress of the project supported by the Federal Competence Centre and the results achieved. Production process of the valve workshop was being optimized for half a year. As a result significant cost reduction was achieved. “Labour efficiency increased by 22%, production lead time was reduced by 79%, work in progress – by 58%, transportation of semi-finished and finished products– by 36%”, Elena Tumus said. Additionally it was possible to free plant space for future projects.
Project team members were awarded with Arnest AO letters of gratitude for active involvement in project implementation and dedicated work. At the end of the event all participants visited valve workshop to witness the changes.
Arnest AO hasn’t stopped at implementing lean production and optimization of production processes. The implementation of two major projects “Supply chain optimization” and “Service level improvement” related to logistics and service spheres began in July this year with the support of Federal Competence Centre. Both projects are now in progress.
The next project to be implemented with the support of Federal Competence Centre is “Labour efficiency and productivity improvement in the filling workshop at lines #2 and #6”.
