On the threshold of the Victory Day celebrating a 70-year jubilee this year, the whole country hosts numerous events devoted to the major spring holiday. OJSC Arnest is a traditional participant of a military-patriotic competition, therefore on March 28 the team of young employees of an enterprise tried hand at the survival route “Russia believes, Russia waits!” – the third stage of a social project “I’m a patriot” timed to coincide 70 anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The organizers of the event placed pupils, students, and young workers of Nevinnomyssk on instant alert for the whole day.
Students of educational institutions of the town in the age from 14 to 18 years, students of high and secondary vocational education institutions in the age from 16 to 20 years, as well as young workers of the city in the age from 18 to 35 years participated in the route. Altogether 210 people participated in an accelerated march.
On the route of so-called “war” the participants were expected to cope with both difficult and exciting tasks. In order to get a victory in these tasks one had to demonstrate a high level of team interaction: passing through contaminated area, starting up the fire in field conditions, transportation of the injured ones, boarding to armoured transport vehicle, camouflaging and a shooting, grenade throwing and minefield crossing. Crossing each of the route areas required elaboration of separate tactics and the strategy of its passing. Harsh weather conditions in form of biting wind and periodically drizzling rain created the special atmosphere where the “battle” tasks acquired features of real danger. But this day nothing managed to prevent OJSC Arnest from showing its strong points in each of the disciplines, including the stage “Erudite” in the framework of which our employees flaunted their knowledge of the Great Patriotic War history. All the route was directed at military-patriotic education and propaganda of a healthy lifestyle, development of physical education, sports, and tourism among youth. Each of the participants managed to feel how difficult it had sometimes been for a Soviet soldier in years of a war.
The results of the route were defined in three groups: pupils of educational institutions, students, and young workers of the town. The young specialists of OJSC Arnest won the 3rd place among the teams of young workers of Nevinnomyssk.
The organizers of the game are: the committee for youth policy, physical education, and sport of the town administration, Municipal Budgetary Institution “Centre of education development”, the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution of Further Education Centre of Child Creativity, with the assistance of military unit No. 68323 of military commissariat in Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol region, Nevinnomyssk school of Voluntary Association for Assistance to Army, Aviation and Fleet, public organization of veterans of combat operations “Height-776” and “Combat brotherhood”.
