On May 31st – June 1st Stavropol region became a venue for All-Russian Business Mission on Organization and Operation of Industrial Clusters organized by Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Association of Clusters and Technology Parks (AC&T) and regional Ministry of Industry and Trade. Representatives of 43 regions of Russia visited Arnest AO as part of the program.
Stavropol territory governor Vladimir Vladimirov welcomed the participants of federal training and said that cluster model is a priority for development of high-tech branches of regional industry. During two days Business Mission participants studied the work of regional industrial plants and considered the possibilities of further localization and import substitution. The participants also discussed AC&T members’ common cluster projects, which will lay claim to federal government support as part of competitive selection.
On June 1st the participants of federal training visited Arnest AO and several production plants of National Aerosol Cluster in Nevinnomyssk. Nevinnomyssk mayor Mikhail Minenkov, Arnest AO President Aleksei Sagal, Vice President Vladimir Guryanov and General Manager Sergey Popov greeted the visitors at the territory of Arnest. There was a factory tour organized for the participants, which included visiting of National Aerosol Cluster companies and demonstration of full production cycle.
At the end of Business Mission the participants and organizers noted that it is important for representatives of different regions to communicate directly in order to gain support from one another for future industrial cooperation projects.
