On the 31st of January the first production line for liquid medical oxygen plant under construction in Nevinnomyssk was delivered to the International Airport in Mineralnye Vody. In November last year Medical Oxygen OOO with the support of Arnest Group took the decision to build a plant for liquid medical oxygen production due to aggravation of the epidemiological situation and urgency to provide oxygen to medical institutions of Stavropol region.

In the course of solving complex organizational issues of finding a supplier and methods of equipment delivery it was possible to find a Chinese manufacturer that provided unprecedentedly short lead time for modern equipment, namely 2-3 months. On the 31st of January the equipment was delivered from China to the airport in Mineralnye Vody by Volga-Dnepr airline on board of a cargo plane IL-76. The equipment will be delivered to the production site of the plant under construction in Nevinnomyssk after passing customs clearance. Moreover, the company is expecting the delivery of a part of large-sized equipment, which was sent by sea from China in early January.

The first line is designed to produce up to 10 tons of liquid medical oxygen per day. The total oxygen output will be 20 tons per day after reaching full production capacity and the infrastructure is established to be able to handle the production of 50 tons per day. The implementation of the project will make up for the lack of medical oxygen, which is urgently needed by the medical institutions of Stavropol region. Oxygen consumption is up to 70 tons per day at peak incidence.

Medical Oxygen OOO has concluded the contract for delivery of modern imported equipment and agreements with contractors for project documentation development as well as construction and installation works. Thanks to the support of regional and city authorities it was possible to resolve the issues of providing the production site with electric power in a short time.

The equipment is purchased with the financial support of the Industrial Development Fund of the VEB.RF Group, which provided Medical Oxygen company with a concessional loan in the amount of 300 million rubles.
